What should we know

This is a question that all of us should ponder over, before it is too late. Most of us may not have forgotten the often cited line "rights and duties go hand in hand". I feel that anyone who knos how to eat, should know how to cook, who knows how to sit in a car shoul know how to drive, who knows how to drink water should know how to draw water and like that. All of us who know how to eat, must learn how to cook and should not leave it as a duty only for woman. I am sure most of the Indian males who consider "not doing household chores" as a male privelege, must get out of this misconception. If they are looking for working wives to share their economic burden, they should be ready to lighten the household load as well. In fact, it is a simple rule, if u know how to consume, u should know how to produce ? In india, this thing is less visible, since there is a lot of poverty and u hire hands for peanuts, but with the growing awareness, this thing is bound to vanish soon. We must get over this attitude that cleaning, washing, cooking are menial jobs, not for men...not for educated men. With the development of the nation, the thing that should grow astronomically in price is human labour, in fact I feel the standard of living of a place can be known by only one index....How costly is the men?
