What burns a lonely woman

Have you ever thought of it, in a man-ruled society like ours, what burns a lonely woman? Huh, we hardly ever care about it, we have never really cared about it anyway, not now, never before as well. And, believe me it is alike in every part of the world. Last week, I saw a movie, "Chokher Bali", besides the breath-taking performance by the beauty-queen, the heart of the story depicted the plight of a widow in the man-dominated classical bengali society. And, then I read a novel by D.H.Lawrence "Lady Chatterley's lover" and there too, I found how unsympathising have been the behaviour of human males towards the woman? And, believe me these works may have been written in the last century but nothing much has changed now. We are still not ready to accept the simple fact that the desire of sex burns man and woman alike, and females should have equal rights as a man in asserting their free-will for sex.
Sex is just like any other need of the human body like food, respiration, emotion. We must remove the taboo of considering it as different. Nobody can follow the plight of a woman who does not get sufficient physical love from her husband, and I am sure she is bound to fall into the arms of "the other man", who is just serving to feel the blank in her, may it be a high-class zamindar Mahendra of chokher bali or a low-class gamekeeper, Mellors of Lady Chatterley. It hardly makes a difference, he is just a tool to sattisfy her desires, just like when you are thirsty, really thirsty......you just care for water and not if it comes from a well, a pond or river. She is burning, burning in her own fire, burning owing to this cruel society, and she is bound to find a way to contain her lascivious desires, otherwise she will just burn to ashes, I am sure she will.
