What to do now

Ya, I have been thinking about it for few years now,but have reached no, conclusion, so finally I decided to put it here,seeking public advice.
So, first let me introduce you to the problem. Some years ago, there was a boy, who was studying in some school. He passed std. X and faced a choice of stream..science, commerce and arts(it never was an option anyway). But, then his board results were not as per his expectations and he blindly followed his friends, took science, in mathemtics stream. Then, just like his friends, he appeared for some exam called IIT JEE, luckily got through it and entered some place called,IIT Kharagpur.

Then, now for last three years, while thinking "what to do now", he slept peacefully at Department of computer science and engineering. but, now this department too seems to have got bored of him, has notified him that he is left with one more year, just one more year to decide WHAT TO DO. He has a few options, one is CAT. right from the childhood, this guy has been a little afraid of cats, and believe me this CAT is the most frightening of all you would have heard of. Out of hundreds of thousands of aspirants willing to bell this CAT, only a few handful succeed. So, leave this simple and weak guy out of this option. then, comes ph.d; do you think this guy will ever be able to finish a ph.d degree and put a Dr. before his name, ohh so nice of you. but, he lacks patience, and does not have the originality and innovativeness they say, a ph.d would need. Moreover, this guy does not know enough about computer science to boast of having any interest in any branch of computer science, the poor soul is hardly 16 months ( 4 sems of 4 months each) in CSE. So, we come to yet another option of doing a job, he appeared for an interview, conducted by a famous IT companyTrilogy. Needlessly, to say he was shamelessly kicked out within minutes of his entering the interview room. So, I leave it to you to find the answer to this question What to do, while sending the solutions through your valuable comments, please leave your name and please think about the means of livelihood of this poor guy.
