The Enigmatic Girl

I could barely descry the enigmatic girl standing at a large distance. Ahh, she was not standing but was ambling in the most leisurely manner. She was not dancing, she was not roaming, it was definitely not a predestined walk, more of a journey towards the bliss. She was casual, carefree. It seemed as if a gentle breeze was flowing; it was coming with a fragrance. This fragrance was not of rose, not of sandalwood, not wine, it was a fragrance which carried her smell to my nostrils. My olfactory senses seemed to have galvanized and under the command of this enticing smell my feet started moving. I wavered, after all I did not know her, who was she, where had she come from? My mind was not equipped to answer but the palpitating heart seized the authority and dictated my bones and fleshes. There was no flinch, no thinking, it was an attraction, an impulse. Once started, there was no stop. She was the destination, the mystery , the conundrum.

I was moving , she was moving , we were not running away from each other, nor were we approaching each other. There was a sense of haste, an anxiety, an urgency but the distance seemed to be endless. But, the run gave an eternal pleasure, invigorated the desire, the burning heart seemed to have got an endless fuel, an overpowering authority. Now, I was chasing her, hankering after her, running after her ...calling her, shouting at her...pleading to her.........but .........she seemed to have lost , lost in the crowd, lost in the sea of millions of people increasing the burden of this earth. I could not find her.

So, first she is neither "Mata" nor "S.Y.". Next, whether it is a fantasy, or a statement of a real life incident is for the readers to discover....say, it is an open riddle put to you. And, for binit , hey I too can "feel good" after all it is not limited to any clique. Lastly, I will like to request anonymous commenters to get out of incognito and give an innuendo to their identity.

Yaar, bura na mano but this blog seems very much contrived. It doesn't have the spontaneity of emotions bubbling over from a page to the other.
You don't use "olfactory" when you love a girl; "galvanized" seems to be sticking into her heart and the abrubptness of your writing will put R.P. Hall lan to shame.
But nice try. Keep blogging, things will get smoother.
Regards
Debabrata.
