IIT: Bandi chahiye

It is no secret that the sex ratio (males : non - males) is highly skewed in all the IITs. So, they decided to work out some way to get out of this frust situation. As always, IIT decided to tackle the problem at the source itself, known as JEE. So, here is a list of few steps they have taken:

1. Application for females is 300 and males is 600 , IITs are twice as eager to accept females than males.

2. They have mentioned in notice about separate facilities for recreation and accomodation of females, in other words Jaanam, palkon par rakhenge tumhe, ab to aa jao.

3. To reduce unwanted competition for females, they have prohibited IIT students from appearing in JEE. This will harldy affect girls since after entering IIT, no girl gets time to study, too busy attending to all her romeos. Also, number of attempts limited to 2, will help girls since hardly any parents allowed their daughters more than one year of preparation after std. XII. After all, they want to marry their daughters early. So, IIT made these rules -- Bandi ke liye IIT kuch bhi karega.

Few things that I think might be going behind the doors:

1. A move to decrease tuition fee for girls, allowing them more money to eat at various canteens and cafeterias. Even now, they hardly need to pay for it, thanks to their numerous boyfriends.

2. I won't be surprised if a female reservation policy comes underway.

The effect of these moves on IIT life will be discussed in next blog, two endsem exams tomorrow yaar.

Nice to read !
But one thing is difficult to digest. I think the fees for BOYS should be decreased so that they can spend more on their GF and fee for girls should be increased so that they are encouraged for BF !

Monu.

Idea is ok. But seriously speaking, IITs should start thinking of a sex-balanced community. Many of the univs abroad go by this policy. May be our diro still believes in prolonged Brahmacharya, and hence ignoring this issue. By the way tu itna funda kahane manage kiya?
